Visit

“Frequency and Volume”, which is in barbican centre, that exhibition showed that the outline of a projected shadow tunes in the radio and the size of a projected shadow controls the volume. I was interested in shadow’s outline and red lines, which show radio’s frequency. While I was seeing the exhibition, I was thinking that those things look good and I want to draw some illustration, which is about the relation between digital and human. Actually, I didn’t think about digital stuff seriously at that time. After the exhibition, we went to ICA theatre to see “Last Noon Sun”. The film was much more interesting than Frequency and Volume. There were 4 screens and each screen was connected. So, it looked like one scene although there were 4 screens. It was a really good experience to see that film.

First part of the essay has lots of statistics about media use, can you add any personal experiences to support or contradict these facts?

There is cyword, which is like facebook, in Korea.
Many people use cyword and they update their pictures, video or diaries on cyword. Also, If people update their schedule on cyword, people, who related to each other, they can know each other thier schedules immediately. And we can know how many people visit our cyword in a day. So when I visited some celebrity’s cyword or someone who updates some big issues , the average of the visitors is over 30000 in a day.
Loging in cyword is all in the day's work.

Digital is...

I thought that digital is a kind of tool which is convenient. For example, everybody can easily connect with each other whenever they want, even if they dont live same place or country.Actually, that point is quiet good for me. because, im an international student. So, whenever i can call or eamil people who live in korea because of digital.also, for me, Im in illustraion course. so if i save my drawings in my computer or USB, I can find out and show them to somebody easily. That's why I thought that digital is convenient.
